WIN up to USD$2,000 with Beefeater’s Drink With Your Eyes Negroni Contest

Negroni Week Is June 24-30 this year and Beefeater Gin is at it again with another #DrinkWithYourEyes Instagram competition.

This time, it’s all about creating our own twist on MY all time favorite cocktail, the Negroni!–using a maximum of 5 ingredients (including garnish).

The classic Negroni consists of: Gin, bitter and sweet elements (usually Campari and sweet vermouth). For my submission, I created a Negroni Float replacing the sweet vermouth with a homemade passionfruit granita for a lively, tropical, summer treat.

• 1 ounce @beefeater gin
• 1 ounce campari
• 1/2 cup homemade passionfruit granita (equal parts passion fruit juice and orange blossom honey, blended and frozen to perfect granita texture)
• orange peel

Stir the Beefeater gin and Campari in a cocktail shaker with ice. Strain into a tall glass, top with granita and garnish with an orange peel.
