If you are looking to experience a new side of Ft Lauderdale, consider The Dalmar, the new tropical oasis, in the heart of downtown Ft Lauderdale.
Poolside Sip n Dip
Standing 25 stories tall, the modern metropolitan hotel fuses the vibrant beach culture of South Florida, with a distinct mid-century aesthetic. With many unique stand alone venues including a restaurant, coffee shop, pool bar, lobby bar and yoga studio, the Dalmar is a destination in its own right.

But it is The Dalmar’s swanky rooftop bar that possibly attracts the most attention. The Sparrow, created by the team behind NYC cocktail institution Death & Co. offers a new place to enjoy the craft cocktail experience while overlooking the bustle of Federal Highway and Flagler Village. Framed in violet neon, Sparrow is inspired by the 1950s lounge, with its sleek, midcentury design and plush velvet seating. Focusing on seasonal ingredients, the menu includes dishes like sweet corn fritters with avocado remoulade, lobster ceviche and grilled chicken skewers with mojo-chili glaze.
Highlights on Sparrow’s beverage program includes the A1A with tequila, dry vermouth and celery, the Red with gin, watermelon and lime juices, the Green, with pisco, cucumber, green tea, Chateau aloe liqueur, lime juice, seltzer, and mint, and the Are You Jealous? made with toasted coconut Absolut Elyx vodka, Jummai sake, cucumber and lime juices, and coconut water.
Look for Sparrow’s selection of shared cocktails as well, such as the Psychic Visions punch with sherry, Lillet rosé, blanco tequila, hibiscus, watermelon and lime juices, and the Mixtape Punch with rum, Campari, strawberry, mixed citrus oleo, and sparkling wine.
